DG3 is committed to giving back to underserved communities and setting new green standards in our industry so that we can continue to conduct business and grow in a way that’s best for our clients, our team members, our communities, and our planet.
Sustainable Today for a Better Tomorrow
We provide innovative products and services to address the environmental challenges facing our customers. We continually focus on environmental issues to build a strong company that leaves a rich legacy on which future generations can build. Our employee-based Green Committee is made up of volunteers from departments across DG3 who collaborate to ensure the CSR goals of the organization are in line with the passions of our customers and employees. These initiatives include an employee transportation program, installation of lighting sensors in office spaces, company-wide education and awareness, and more!
In an effort to further our goals as a conscientious business, we have also embraced several initiatives throughout all levels of the organization including:
- Triple Chain of Custody Certified (FSC®, SFI®)
- 100% Green-E certified renewable wind energy in our North American operations
- Members of the Leadership Club for the EPA Green Power Partnership
- Closed loop recycling systems for paper and chemistry
- Print with soy based ink
- Oxidizing filtration systems – Title V Operating Permit, granted by NJDEP
Diversity & Inclusion
Having the best teams means creating the right environment and policies within DG3 to ensure a diverse and inclusive organization. At DG3, we welcome individuals of all backgrounds and celebrate our differences. Our Diversity and Inclusion Council, led by a senior member of DG3’s team, organizes and champions our initiatives including speaker sessions, targeted campus recruiting and internships, diversity celebrations, mentoring, and continuing education subsidies for career development. DG3 has a diverse workforce and we are focused on providing advancement opportunities and improving leadership representation across diverse populations.
DG3 Cares
2020 taught us a lot about our communities in need and, as a business, we appreciate that we have a responsibility to give back and support those communities. In response, DG3 formed DG3 Cares, our philanthropic initiative aimed at supporting a range of issues that have fundamental impacts on peoples’ way of life. We evaluate Cares priorities on a periodic basis, which include food insecurity, research and development for disease cures, and disabled/disadvantaged individual support. In addition to our financial contributions to varying causes, we also provide paid time off to our employees solely for use in community support and development activities.

All of DG3’s efforts to be a socially responsible corporation are guided by our principles and reinforced and fortified by our policies. Certifications
The Green Power Partnership is a voluntary program that encourages organizations to buy green power as a way to reduce the environmental impacts associated with purchased electricity use. DG3 is proud to be a member at the Leadership level.
The Forest Stewardship Council ® (FSC®) enables forest management companies to demonstrate that their wood products have been controlled to avoid sourcing wood where high conservation values are threatened. By choosing FSC-certified products, consumers and businesses are rewarding responsible forest management, benefiting people and nature around the world.
SFI Inc. is an independent, non-profit organization responsible for maintaining, overseeing and improving a sustainable forestry certification program that is internationally recognized and is the largest single forest standard in the world.
DG3 purchases Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) for green wind in order to supply 100% of its electricity. Our RECsare certified by Green-e Energy: the nation's leading independent consumer protection program for the sale of renewable energy and greenhouse gas reductions in the retail market.
The Rainforest Alliance ® act as an independent, third-party seal of approval to distinguish goods and services as sustainable. The Rainforest Alliance offers certifications, verification, and validation services for farms, forestry operations and other businesses that meet its standards for sustainability.
